Nope not really. I grew up in Ohio. I now live in California. I love maxi dresses. This was definitely not my go to outfit in my younger years.

This is OP - and it's really fun hearing these answers. I guess these clothing preferences are so formative.

I don't have kids so don't know the answer - but I wonder if kids today are growing up with these sorts of regionalisms or if the internet has made it so everyone wears the same thing.

I am from Colorado and this is also part of our uniform, add something with the Colorado flag on it of course
