I went straight through from 8:30 to 1:00 without a break so there was no time at all to eat even if I was hungry. I’m actually not looking forward to next year because my grade level will have earlier lunch/specials (even though I usually have meetings during specials but at some of them it’s considered ok to eat) so I will have to stop my eating window at night much earlier or else I’ll have to wait until the end of the school day to eat which will be way too long.
In a regular office setting you just have to put your head down and try to ignore. Put the Zero or My Fast app on your phone and set an alarm when your window is over. Try not to allow yourself to end your window early. Once you start avoiding the temptations it will become easier.
I'm a teacher with a 1:30 lunch and it is so, so easy for me to wait during the school year. Then I come home and immediately do chores and make dinner so I have a 5.5 hour eating window. I am really struggling this summer already so I am following this thread!
