We are having the exact same issue with Verizon and thinking about cutting cable too. Please report back on your decision and experience.

Have people been generally ok with Cox internet for this DMV area? If it matters, I live in Vienna, VA.

Cox right now has internet the 1GB at $65 for two years. I think our family can move to watching Netflix, Amazon Prime. I also bought a Roku device many years ago that we could use. Or buy something else to cut the cable cord.

Anyway, go ahead with the switch? Anything else to consider before I make the switch?

I had a very frustrating experience trying to fix the get internet with FIOS customer service, the technical support, and So the service



We have more than 7 devices (three smartphones, two ipads, two laptops). Only one device is using streaming like Netflix at a time, as I am the only user in the house. My DH does not surf the internet at home, period. At most he's on it to work from home once a month, pay bills online once a month.
