The point is, he doesn’t need a reason to not want to do them but if she asks why, I’m sure he is grown enough to answer. By the way, we still do play dates with the brats. We are available Saturday if you are

Yup, and he's taken the kid on playdates without me.

Same. I find it hilarious when some strange kid I don't know opens the door and is like "Oh good, the surgeon is here. Right this way for your patient," and I'm saying, "Thank you ... Chloe, is it?" because I have no clue who the kid is.

I thought playdates were for women to be able to get together and chat. When kids are old enough for drop-off playdates, then it's for the kids to play together.

DH has taken DS over to one of our family friends' house to get together with the dad there while the kids played together. That was when I was sick.

Yes. He and another dad do a play date at the park or out house pretty regularly. Kids are in preschool.

Sometimes the neighbor kids come over when he is home with the kids. But never a prearranged play date.
