You know the rights that women are fighting for here? This is the essence.
When you are not granted dominion over your body in the law. It’s not even about insurance coverage, or have to go to PP. it’s about never having had the choice, or knowing you had one, or having one. It’s about not actually understanding how your fertility works, because your job was to create life and not worry about those things. It’s about being beaten if they refuse their husbands.
So think about what these women are going though. Some have choices now, some don’t. But this is why we fight for women’s rights. This is why funding needs to remain overseas.
