It’s early but with all the 2020 talk I thought it might be time to start a thread encompassing all the 2020 House races. There have been a few developments this week.
The member in charge of taking the House back for the Republicans is seemingly not having a great go of it.
“GOP lawmakers and strategists are voicing deep concerns about National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Rep. Tom Emmer (Minn.) and his team's 2020 strategy. In recent weeks, a number of top Republicans have aired grievances with the House GOP campaign arm's approach, with some going as far as questioning if Emmer and his operation are in over their heads.”

Also, the GOP’s head of House recruiting, Rep. Susan Brooks of Indiana, is retiring. Not only another bad sign for the Rs taking back the House, but also her open seat might be flippable - same profile as the ones the Democrats flipped in Oklahoma and Kansas.

And damned if this isn’t one of the best ads introducing a candidate that I’ve ever seen, from retired Colonel Kim Olson, running in TX-24 against Kenny Marchant who won by only 3% last time. Give it a few minutes of your time, please. A+ Democratic recruit.
