No. People who are riding bikes need to follow the laws for people who are riding bikes. Some of which are the same as the laws for people who are driving cars, and some of which are not the same as the laws for people who are driving cars.

Find out what the laws are for people who are riding bikes, before you complain that people who are riding bikes are not following the laws.

This. I hate it when cyclists blow through red lights just as much as I hate it when drivers skip stop signs. OP, you should stick to the interstates.

I strongly prefer riding on a bike path or dedicated bike lane to sharing a lane with traffic, and find it hard to believe cyclists are actually choosing to do so if a real multi use trail is available. Riding at 20 mph on a sidewalk with kids, dog walkers, etc is not legal and not safe for pedestrians. Sorry it inconveniences you. Maybe you should be advocating for more dedicated bike infrastructure.

I just saw the car in front of me almost have a head-on collision, because they are trying to get around you.

The driver of that car should learn how to drive safely, before they hurt someone. "Don't pass unless it's safe to do so" is a basic driving rule.

That's not what the law says.

100% Cyclist routinely run red lights around here and are quite nasty when confronted about it.

Yes, but drivers and cyclists don't respect each other and until that happens it will mayhem on the roads. Add the scooter riders and DC is just terrible place to drive now.

Um, how about an intervention for the car that tried to pass unsafely? Thanks.

I saw a bicyclist get pulled over the other day because he was weaving in and out of cars who were basically in bumper to bumper traffic on a semi main road.

Here we go again...

If that cyclist is really going 20 miles per hour, do you know how dangerous it would be for him to be riding on that walking path? No matter how much you object, he's riding where he is supposed to be.
