No. Nobody sees a GLA and thinks "wow, that person must be doing well for themselves". More like "that person desperately needs a Mercedes but can't afford a better model".

Somebody with money will buy a GLE/GLS if they care about cars, a Toyota Highlander if they don't.

To me, both the X1 and GLA are kind of ugly. They look too watered down to be wearing the luxury badge. Especially the back of both vehicles looks plain and boring. I recommend the GLC if you want an MB. If not, look at an Audi Q3. My ultimate vote is for a CR-V in the small SUV segment.

Minivan? GLA? hahahah.. when was the last time you saw GLA? GLA 2019 is a tinniest of the MB SUV's
And has nothing to do with CRV or Forester. Neither size-wise, nor class-wise, not luxury-wise.
It starts at some 30K and change and it if you buy it for one person that it is awesome car.

Probably would go with BMW X1 instead. It is nicer looking and cuter. They have huge discounts now.

Just can't bring yourself to admit that what you really need is a minivan, huh?

I just don't think there's anything special about this vehicle. A CR-V, RAV4 or Forester would do the trick for a lot less money.

Looking for a small SUV to go along with larger SUV family car. Would love any feedback from those who have or considered the GLA. We were thinking GLC but then realized we don’t really need the room afforded there and saw the GLA as a new option.
