Eloise is so popular. No more Ella’s on this planet please!

Layla/Laila is actually an Arabic name that means night. Sorry your name has no meaning.

I’m a Leila, and I’ve always loved my name! No one can pronounce it, but I’ve always said that made me learn how to stand up for myself.

Eloise, without question.

Personally, I like Eloise better! Although Lyla (spelled either way imo) is pretty too. Eloise does make me think of the children's book, but that's not a bad thing.

I have a Lila - and no regrets with the name choice, haha. We meet a few other Lila’s or Lyla’s here and there from time to time.

Eloise is nice too!

I think Eloise is a cute name. It lends itself to adorable nicknames like Ella or Ellie.

Like them both. Eloise (of the books) was so endearing!
I think Lila begs for a middle name but that's just me.

Eloise. Lyla just sounds like a baby babble or something. Dislike it and Layla. They don't have any substance.

Hate both. Eloise is such an ugly name - I don't know why so many people are using it.

Lyla is a boring name. And if you use it, spell it without a Y.

+1 except I wouldn't use Lyla spelled that way.

Do you like either of these names? Are the overdone? Other name suggestions out of the top 50ish are welcome! Naming a girl is so difficult!
