CVS = chorionic villus sampling

TVS= trans vaginal cerclage (temporary)

TAC= trans abdominal cerclage (permanent cerclage—requires c-section) *I have a TAC after losing my twins at 22w.

I’m so sorry for your loss. By any chance did you have a cvs? I had a cvs w/ some complications. I then had PProm at 24 weeks. My dr believes the pprom was a delayed complication from the cvs. I did go on to have 2 successful pregnancies. Good luck.

I’m so sorry OP. I lost a childbirth to pProm many years ago. YEs, I later had a successful pregnancy. I got a preventive cerclage, and was on bed rest from 12-37w and went on to deliver a healthy little girl.

When I was in the hospital there were two moms in L&D who had pProm and went on to deliver.

I took NeoCell Type 1&3 Collagen supplements religiously to strengthen my bag of waters while the baby grew and also vitamin c.

We lost our baby at 16 weeks and 3 days. My cervix was closed and I didn't have any infections. The doctors couldn't understand why this happened. They reassured me that I could go ahead to have a normal pregnancy if I wanted without a risk of PPROM. I was so distraught at that time that I didn't ask many questions. Has anyone had any success with this.
