That said, I like the reno for the most part. Some weird design elements, though. And the back is tiny.

Interesting - I love most of the design elements. The 'hidden' powder room, the kitchen (which is tiny) is immaculate, and the backyard is the type of entertaining space that people in D.C. crave.

The one thing I don't get is this weird sink/wine area in the kitchen. Can someone explain this?

looks like they turned a pantry into a strange wetbar.

Ha, the wet bar is one of the things I liked! but odd bc it's so close to the kitchen.

It's gorgeous. If I were in the market in that price range I would have a hard time turning it down simply due to the history.

Based on a podcast I listened to, I think the murder occurred in one of the rooms on "upper level 1". It's also suspected that someone used a hose in the back yard to wash off blood. The details are so creepy.

Don't miss this chance to own a piece of history!

I use dot read that website avidly. Daily. I'm surprised this hasn't been made into a high quality long-form podcast (like by one of the big guns, wonder and the like), actually, the website has done all the research.

But the murder guys don't own it anymore, right? It's already been sold once?

Google Robert Wone. His killers got away scott-free. And moved to Florida...where they bought another house together. *shudders*

Ah yes. That's the house, huh. Awful.

If I wasn't creeped out by the dead vibes, I'd buy it. It's quite spacious for a rowhome.
