Pray for the families. Also, hope they don’t charge my account 2mrw morning at 3am for next week’s programming.
Why would all Springboard aftercare be cancelled because of an isolated employee incident at one school? Unless they can't verify that they keep proper credentials/background checks for all, that doesn't make sense.

Dear Capitol Hill Montessori @ Logan Parents and Families,
At CHM@L, we are committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for our students. Communicating home about issues that impact our school community is critical to fostering strong partnerships with families.
After receiving a report of alleged misconduct by an employee of after school programming provider Springboard Education in America, we immediately removed the employee from our school and referred the matter to the Metropolitan Police Department.
I want to assure you that the safety of our students is our number one priority and that we take all allegations of misconduct very seriously. Out of an abundance of caution, beginning Monday, June 10, Springboard Education in America’s services have been temporarily suspended at all DC Public Schools while we take steps to review Springboard’s compliance with all DCPS requirements.
Despite this suspension of service, programming will be provided without interruption by CHM@L and DCPS staff members through next week. It is important to us that our students continue to receive high-quality before and after school care and that this service suspension does not drastically impact our families.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Kim Adutwum
Principal, CHM@L
