all the OP's are correct here about getting back to zero - but just want to say you CAN ovulate with HCG in your system. Happened to me after a 7 week MC. Had a draw at 6w5d at 6500, started bleeding the next day, was pretty awful for a week, then keep getting draws for a few weeks till we got down around 100, was stuck around 60 HCG for a week then it went up to 104, peaked at 190 and then fell back to 40. ended up I got pregnant again and then MC'd AGAIN super early.

Most obs and res that I went to make sure it's below 5. I'd ask your ob or get another one. Going to quest and/or LabCorp can save a lot of time/money. Just get a standing order for hcg.

It’s funny how many people say you should be getting blood draws until your hcg is less than 5. My OB wouldn’t check any bloodwork on me. Maybe my ultrasound looked really normal after my miscarriage? Sometimes I wonder if she’s incompetent.

If you can't make it in to your OB, RE, or even your PCP's office for a blood draw, get a lab slip and go to LabCorp. Several of their locations have weekend or more flexible hours.

You really should make sure that HCG is below 5.

My cycles were always a bit longer, by a week or so. I didn't really track it until I got a normal period again. But if I got some other signs (like CM) I would go for it.

I had my hcg stay at 14 for a few weeks. Hpts were negative. Just make sure it's below five. Ovulation can happen two weeks after it gets to below 5, but sometimes takes longer

Op here - yes I should have gotten it checked again. I didn’t have time. I took one more hpt test a few days later and it was negative so I figured the hcg was out of my system.

My doctor made a huge deal about it when mine wasn’t going to zero. I would get it rechecked.
My
Mom had a 6 week miscarriage on Christmas, and my brother was born mid October. So, she ovulated right after the m/c.

Get your HCG checked. I'm surprised your RE or OB didn"t want to follow up with you to ensure it dropped to "negative" (<5). My RE was adamant about that.

If you had a 6 week miscarriage when did you ovulate again? My hcg was down to 54 in cd8. I didn’t have it retested though.

I had a chemical pregnancy in July and I ovulated 21 days after I started bleeding.

This time I am 20 days after bleeding and I still don’t have a positive OPK.
