Yeah. I like ice skating and would like this but wouldn't invite someone who had never done it before because it wouldn't be fun. Otherwise count me in! Even and actually especially in June; it's a nice way to get out of the heat and still do something active!

As others have said, make sure you know how to skate (especially if you are the guy), before you suggest it.

Keep the first date to be drinks, especially if you are meeting them for the first time via online dating.

I had a blind date with a guy 30 years ago and we went skating. His idea. Too bad he was the worst skater ever. I’ve never seen someone with a complete lack of ankle support. Pulled me down trying to keep from falling and destroyed my knee. Never been the same.

My DS broke his ankle on an ice skating isn’t date. He was 12 - first date ever.
