x a million

(and judging by the responses here)
despite being a med student, she is young and likely physically attractive and I'm sure many other men noticed. ergo, the other women are jealous that they can't turn on their own DH's as these same women have "given
up" a little (or a lot) and it's easier to take out that anger on an innocent bystander.

coupled with that is likely also the fact that the other women probably couldn't hold a candle to her in terms of intelligence.

all of this = women being their own worst enemy.

The math says it's kosher! If you subscribe to the formula.

35/2 = 17.5
17.5 + 7 = 24.5

That's a big age gap. Often men like that have issues. It's a little sleazy.

A friend of mine did this. We have him sh*t because that’s what we do, and it’s a bit of fun. We weren’t outright rude to the woman, but we did rib him about getting her home early on school night.

He married her and she’s great.

Good for the guy. The people who give him crap are either doing some light teasing of a buddy or have their own personal issues.

Because he is 46% older than her and has 6500% more experience as a post-undergraduate adult.

She was a medical student, cute, and seemed nice and mature. I'm detached from their office politics and gossip, but all the women they work with were being cruel about it. When folks heard she was still in med school, the word creep was sarcastically used. If he wants children, it would seem pragmatic for him to court women in that age range when you factor in 1-2 years for engagement and wedding.
