Challenger is the old British soccer, I think? Not high level but a lot of fun. My kids love it.

Agree. It’s all about having fun...that’s their philosophy. They won’t get lots of individual skills training. Good for young kids. I’d say 8 and under. My kids loved it but they’ve definitely outgrown it.

Search an online course (Renegade Soccer Training for example) and do it at home.

We haven’t participated in this camp, but it was recently shared with me.

Achilles is not for casual players - the camp attracts skilled kids from several different clubs not just Achilles, and the scrimmages can get pretty intense. That being said, if your son commits to going for several weeks he will see improvement, both from playing with good players and from all of the technical drills.

1. I didn't see anything about a Coerver camp in Potomac. I saw the Bethesda ones, though. Anyone have a link?

2. Anyone know anything about Challenger? They have camps in McLean and SoFive in Rockville, this summer, among many others. https://www.challengersports.com

I heard great things about Coerver from our coach and the parents. I have no prior experience but I already signed up my DC for this camp. They have one camp in Potomac and the other one is in Bethesda.
