Check out the Zoe XL1 or XLC, which are half the price of the Minu and Yoyo. Those were cool, but we ended up buying an XL1 and love it. I take it up and down stairs one-handed every day.

I should add that we kept our cruz so buying the minu felt redundant, but if I were to consolidate down to one stroller I probably would have gotten the minu. Fwiw, stairs aren't too difficult with the Cruz if you sort of bump it down. My issue with the Cruz is the limited space we have on our entryway to get it open and set up.

We just got an uppababy gluxe, which can accommodate babies as going as 3 months. We use it for my 2.5yo now and I wear the baby (2 weeks old) until he's old enough for the umbrella stroller. We also have a Cruz but don't use it much for the exact same reasons as OP. Still,nice to have for the longer excursions.

Has anyone used the newer Baby Jogger City Tour 2? I've read reviews detailing gripes about the seat being too shallow on the original City Tour, but the refreshed model looks like it addressed that issue and added the capability to accommodate an infant car seat.

I am obsessed with the Minu. We bought it for travel in Europe last year with our 2.5 year old. But are now using it w car seat converter for our new born instead of our old infant stroller. ( we also have the Cruz w a standing board when we are on walking intensive outings)

It’s a fast and small one handed fold, shoulder strap, nice sized basket. I love it.

What about the GB QBit instead of a Pockit? Slightly heavier, but sturdier.

There's also the GB Qbit, the Mountain Buggy Nano and the Valco Babysnap Trend,

yoyo was hands-down the best purchase we made in baby gear. Kid is now 3 and we still us it on occasion. Look for last year.s model for a "used car" discount.

Thanks PPs. The baby is due in a weekbut I'm hoping for something to last 2.5+ years. It's a girl and expected to be in the 50th percentile so I don't anticipate needing a super high weight limit.

The GB pocket definitely doesn’t feel sturdy, but we’ve had it for over 2 years, using it daily for at least a year of that, and it’s still in great shape.

We moved into a new place in a rowhouse that has more stairs and narrower doors, and we also travel a lot by plane. We have an Uppababy Cruz in great shape from kid #1 (who no longer needs a stroller) but it's going to be hard to carry it up and down the front steps of a row house every day, and then up and down the stairs inside.

I've found the following, but the reviews are kind of mixed for all of them:

GB Pockit ($150)
The Pockit sounds good but is apparently not that sturdy and the canopy is basically non-existent.

Babyzen Yoyo ($499)
The Yoyo has the best reviews but also some complaints about handling, and it's pricey.

Uppababy Minu ($399)
The Minu seems good but doesn't fold as small as the others and is also fairly pricey.

Metro by Ergo Baby ($299)
The Metro sounds great, but is apparently not that easy to fold and the recline strap seems to loosen by itself as the child sits in it (seems like a deal breaker); some people complain about the handling as well.

I'm wondering if anyone can comment on any of the above (or even compare them), from the perspective of a typical DC dweller who walks a lot in the city and probably takes at least a few trips a year.
