Gambling, drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco, using illegal drugs are ALL CHOICES.

I have a DS12 and it's extremely difficult to keep him off the screens or complying with our rules, unless we completely ban all screens from the house--we would do that, except the school, in its wisdom, has seen fit to issue iPads to all of the students.
Once kids hit MS and HS it's much more difficult to control things- a lot of parents are dealing screen time and gaming problems from their kids.
