Saw this on Reddit, began researching and thought I would pose it here. Missing man David Stern, told his fiance he was leaving work early to go to a doctor's appointment on November 27th 2018. Then went to a liquor store in Georgetown- Dixie Liquor on M Street-, nowhere near the doctor or where he lived. Bought a pint of crown royal, and that's the last he was seen. The last indicator police have of his location is a cell tower ping from his phone around 9 p.m. on the night of the 27th.
Fiance responded to online comments and said his car was recovered soon after he disappeared, "Parked near his home where he normally parked" and had no indication of foul play.
Why was his car back home if he drove to Georgetown and was pinged in Gtown / Alexandria?
Why did his fiance, friends and family only post about him missing until January, so for 1.5 months they all posted constantly online, and then they stopped and none of them has posted anything since?
Why did he go to georgetown for liquor? Was he meeting someone? Did he run away?
