This happened to me, OP.

They got married. Then he cheated on her, and then they got divorced. Once a cheater always a cheater. Be thankful he's not your problem anymore, and his now the other woman's problem.

I'd say you dodged a bullet! Go forward and live your life with a clean conscience!

She did you a massive favor. Once I worked my way through the grief of my marriage ending I realized how much better off I was. I would rather be alone with my cats than with an asshole like my ex. (Not single but would have been fine with it.)

Huge OP. My ex married the woman he cheated with last summer. He chose to announce it to me on what would have been our anniversary. We have a bunch of summer kid events coming up that she’s going to be attending so I’ll get to see them being all cutesy together a whole bunch of times. Trying to remember that I have the moral high ground here and that (based on past events) she’s more uncomfortable than I am at being around each other. And before someone accuses me of it, no I’m not rude to her or anything.

Just looking forward to the day when it’s not still raw. I will say, the anticipation is worse than the actual day. I hope this becomes true for you too, OP, and that his marriage turns out to give you some sense of closure.

My bil cheated on my sister and he married the woman. I met her a few times and she always kept her head down or avoided being in my presence. What she did was shameful and she knew it. Three kids and a decade later they’re divorcing. He’s a bastard and always will be. Don’t worry about it op.
