Chevy makes all of its money on trucks and truck-platform SUVs and actually puts $ into those brands. Everything else, third-rate products. Go with Honda or Toyota.

I am the don’t get a Chevy person I do agree with this, but the suburbans and Tahoes still shake and rattle and are so loud in the cabin. It would drive me insane.

The Telluride has been received extremely well and is worth looking at.

The Ascent is painfully anemic and slow.

That’s taking it a bit far but I agree Subaru is a Swiss Army knife. Does everything! But if you want an “experience” look elsewhere. Personally I admire Subaru.

Why do you want captains chairs? I wanted them to have a pass-through to the third row, but found that many SUVs have a permanent console in the middle. I ended up with a bench seat.

If you have young children get a minivan with captain’s seats. My daughters giant Infinity is a tank and is so hard to park and get in and out of. My son has a Chrysler minivan and they love it. Easy access, sliding doors, plenty of storage space. Many women hate minivans because it looks like a “mom’s car” but almost all mom’s drive SUV’s so which is the mom’s car?

Stupid comment - we have had Tahoes, Suburbans and Yukons and they have all been great. Zero issues

We are on our second Acadia and have loved them.

Look at the explorer. A new verison is coming out in 2020. They can order the captains chairs for you. We have had nothing but issues with our Chevy and they don't stand behind their product.

I want an SUV with captains chairs. looking at the GMC Acadia, Chevy Traverse, Subaru Ascent.

We have two kids right now (one in high back booster in one in a RF car seat). We may have a third in a couple years.

We currently own a Subaru forester. We travel a lot and are always filling it to the brim. When we have family in town it would be nice to have the third row.

I would prefer to buy used as we live in the city and I don't want to be worried about a new car getting scraped up. I also do not want a mini van, as I want something a little more compact for street parking.

would love suggestions. Thanks!
