OP, I’m pretty sure Johnson’s is the worst soap ever. People have used it in studies, and then they measure the chemicals in their bloodstream over time, and it’s astounding.

Pick a different soap.

Briogeo shampoo and conditioner. Do you have hard water by chance? We have a softener but it isn't enough for our area. I also follow with Vanicream lotion.

We started using Weleda calendula body wash when DC was a baby and are still using it four years later. It's excellent.

For shampoo, we still use J&J since DS has relatively oily hair and needs something appropriate for that (I'd love to switch but haven't found anything that's tear-free and as effective as Johnsons).

+1. Even our pediatrician thought DD was reaction to a hair care product...but it turned out to be lice.

Burts Bees baby shampoo and wash for our 3 yo. Aveeno was too drying for him as a baby and we've used the Burts Bees since.

Change to literally anything else and see if it makes a difference. Doesn't matter what.

If you like a product that's both shampoo and body wash in one, the everyone lavender 3-in-1 kids wash is nice. I usually buy it when it's 30% off at whole foods but it's available other places. https://www.eoproducts.com/collections/3-in-1-hand-soap

J&J is very drying. We use Burt's Bees because I can get it on subscribe and save.

Poofy Organics baby wash.

J&J changed its formulation about a year ago and my daughter started reacting to it.
