3 cycles of Clomid (150 mg) as part of my three medicated IUIs at age 39. I didn't have any side effects at all (my skin actually clearead up after six cyles of Gonal F), my lining wasn't great but picked up during the last two days before the IUI. First cycle had two eggs, second had one, third had two. Received on my 3rd cycle, am now 20 weeks.

I've been through two IVF cycles and three IUIs and my worst experiences with fertility mess were by far the two Clomid cycles I did before starting ART in earnest. Clomid made me so desperately depressed, though it just lasted several days. I 100% believe the PP who said Colomid made her suicidal.

I took it twice for the clinic challenge tests my insurance made me do and once as part of a mini ivf. All over 40. No side effects that I noticed. Sounds like I was lucky.

I did it at 35 as part of a medicated IUI. It gave me headaches and terrible mood swings. But it worked and my kid is now 2!

It can mess up your lining and make it too thin.

Are you being monitored by an RE, OP? Or is this being prescribed by an OB?

Will be monitored by my RE

6 x IUI on 100mg just before I turned 40. Felt depressed, at times suicidal, produced between 2-6 follicles, none of the IUIs worked.

Don’t do Clomid unless you’re being monitored. The risk of multiples is real. Believe me.

I had some bloating and weight gain, and that was with just 1 round, half of the normal dose.
