what this man did is beautiful-- it's not a snide comment but a fact 45% of class of 2019 morehouse students have or will fail out.

morehouse 6 year graduation rate is only 55%

Private equity guy, runs Vista Equity Partners. They buy technology companies.

Cornell grad. Very interesting person, actually. His company bought my employer a few years ago. I've heard him speak before, I was impressed.

This. It was awesome what he did, and it'll make a great impact for those young men. But it's kind of ironic the photo of the donor (Mr Smith) next to the university's president. Guess who's responsible for the high tuition all those students got loans for in the first place?

He basically made a $40M donation to Morehouse that allowed them to give grants instead of loans to those kids.
