C and D student in high school. Dyslexic in the time when it wasn’t understood. Went to college where a fantastic advisor mentored me. Became a B student. Got my masters in a topic I love. Director of a national organization and speak all over the country.

C student. Chronic underachiever. To be fair, however, I was experiencing child abuse (sexual, emotional) and had PTSD, depression, and anxiety as a result. Which of course I dealt with by partying.

So I’m playing catch up. Early thirties, earning a master’s. I’m a great student now (got a 4.0 when I finished my bachelors in my late twenties).

That’s awesome.

B+ in high school
B at Big 10 college
A in MBA program.

VP at trade association. Happy with where I’m at career-wise. It’s a means to an end and gives me the time I want with my family.

I was an A student. I immigrated to USA, got another degree and married a very smart man. Unfortunately I didn’t do much with my own career.

B+ overall
Top third in law school, and probably about that in undergrad. I was basically always decent but never at the very top. However, I was able to maintain this level without too much effort. Being at the top would have meant no social life and horrible mental health for me. I was a very happy and well rounded student at every level of schooling, I just wasn’t ever an A student.

I’m now a moderately successful lawyer (I’d say about a B+ level of success) and very content.

I had a B average. A lot of As, some Bs, and a D in a phony baloney elective that sparked my first real feelings of contempt for educators.

Twenty years later, I run a satellite office of a major corporation. It pays decently well, and is very flexible (a lot of WFH). I don’t love it.

I am not rich but I am financially comfortable (all I need, most of what I want) and pretty well-known and respected in my field.

C student

A student. Got a PhD, very personally fulfilling but not so much financially. Will not be encouraging my kids to do the same, though it's a little sad tobsay that.

C student in HS and A student in college and grad school. Made it away from the racist HS and life went much smoother after that.

You fell into one of these grade ranges in high school/college just curious as to how life panned out for you based on your grades.
