My husband does the laundry in our house, his spot to leave clothes in piles to wrinkle is the guest room bed. Drives me bonkers too.

And yet, she apparently did more than you? I think the appropriate response is to say thank you and tell her you’ll do it next week (so it can be done to your standards).

"I did four loads of your laundry!" I've heard again and again, as if I owe her the biggest thank you in the world

But really, all she did was put them in the washer, then the dryer, then let them sit in laundry bags and get wrinkled

Am I supposed to bow down and thank her for her great act of kindness?
