Do you want it to look like Rosslyn? What's so great about all that development? NOTHING

Chinatown right now is just Rosslyn with the tops of the buildings lopped off, what’s so great about that??

Density is the key to smart growth and also helping to keep people with low and moderate incomes in the city.

She is going to push this through the council. What's the plan to stop her? The only people she listens to are developers and guessing they fully back this plan. She gets to wrap herself in an affordable housing cape and get in deeper with developers. Win win for her. Guessing she is aiming for mayor for life at expense of our lovely city.

Skyscrapers surrounding national parks is generally a bad idea.

Shrug. It’s the only option. We have to build higher.

That's not the only option. DC is far from a situation where the only way to increase density is to go higher.

No thank you.

She LOVES development and what does she call it, skin in the game. She has all kinds of plans for skyscrapers in ward 3 I'm guessing. Probably starting with Tenleytown and then creeping down wisconsin and ct. Ave.

Or people can move to less dense and cheaper areas, and we can work on our mass transit and transport credits. There actually are options.we spend a ton on affordable housing already in this city. I think it's the only budget item going up????

Height limits are the one thing that keeps our city charming and unique. While we are rat infested, we are not a rat infested styles Gotham. She is proposing going after height limits again. After how she and the council pushed through the shelter plan with little public comment or regard for existing zoning requirements no doubt she will push through this short sighted but irreversible change. If she likes, she can go run for mayor in New York. Her proposal shows zero respect for my hometown of DC.
