DW would never allow me to put school or sports stickers/decals on the car. She is hyper sensitive about privacy.

DW was previously stalked so she wants no info in the public realm.

I don’t like magnets (and would never put a sticker) on my car, but kids are frequently given the magnets as a part of team or school membership, and want to put them on the car like the other families have done. I don’t care enough to say no, but limit it to 2.

We have a very common car make, model, and color. We have magnets only for school, dance, and music that help us identify the car. We are also proud to provide some free advertising for these business that we feel add real value to our family.

IQ is inversely proportional to the number of bumper stickers on the car.

How do you support your kids school by 'ugly-ing" your car? Do you think that people who see a sticker get so excited then run towards your school to enroll especially if a sticker is on an older bumped up car? In which case it spells support? The conundrum is that the great schools do not need support or advertising, the mediocre schools if they need, they will not get much from seeing a bumper stickers on an older and run down cars and the fact is that high end and new cars do not usually carry any stickers because of the nature of the beast. If anything, when I see bumper stickers on a car I feel sorry for the car. It would look so much nicer and so much more elegant without them.

Some bumper stickers are really obnoxious and I don't like how they fade with age and damage the paint.

That said, I did buy a subtle "blue wave" magnet for the back of my car and I really like it.

Ha! I had my car stolen within the last two years and had a distinctive license plate border around the license plate. The inexplicably hilariously dumb twist, the thief removed the license plate but the license plate border was still on the plate when the vehicle was recovered. Never could figure out why the thief would be so ridiculous as to unscrew the border, remove the license plate, and then screw the very distinctive license plate border back onto the car! WHAT?!?

I don't understand bumper stickers, or the sticker family members, or personalized plates. Why do you need to tell anything about yourself to strangers on the road?
