Respected in the DC metro area -- However, a visit to the school will really be illuminating.

OP - Check out the Johnson scholarship before you fall for this.

Better keep Stanford off your list. Yikes.

Enclave of the rich. Very strong and expensive Greek system

Isn't it a super conservative school filled with trumpies?

Fantastic school, OP, though if small size is an issue then that’s that. Plenty of bigger schools out there.

Can't speak to business. It's been ten years but a family member transferred out because the social seen was stifling, and she is a preppy, rich, southern gal, so I take it the appeal is very niche.

Very strong alumni network and a strong business/economics program with good track record for placement. The alumni I know absolutely love their time there.

Yes, visit. IMHO it is what UVA used to be. So good and bad attributes.

Definitely visit. DC didn’t like it. Too many rich kids and too greek for her. She had her fill of wealthy kids and a stressful social structure in high school and wanted something more laid back.

I would suggest you make a visit and let your DC drive the process.

I work in business in the DC area and have observed that W&L grads really look out for each other...great network. Also have been impressed with their grads. Would recommend for my own kids.

Does anyone know anything about this school? DC is interested in their business program but it sounds too small. Opinions on it?
