Interior - Mercedes seem much more comfy and plushy. BMW is more rigid and feels smaller.
Exterior - the MB seem a little bit more up to date with other lines. BMW keeps the traditional shape of X3.
If I had to buy one today. MB. If I could have both, I would get both
