I have two preschoolers and a cream leather interior. My car is clean because I clean it regularly with leather cleaner and a vacuum. 2-3x a year we take the car seats out and full clean the seats.

No, the light interior is much less hot in the sun, and the steering wheel can be touched in if park in the sun. I place seat covers over the front seats, and they are washable. Win win.

Even in the light interior flooring is usually black for practical reason so that will still be a problem.

I have a black car with a black interior and ... never again. I love the look of black but it just looks dirty easily especially since I park outdoors.

Yep. It’s faded some but every time I longingly eye a white leather interior, I cringe at the thought of it happenening to them.

If they are leather, they are easier to clean no matter the color. Plus a lighter interior doesn't get burning hot in the sun.

Not everyone has children spilling and smearing things on their seats.

I see cars with interiors so light, they look almost white, the seats it is. I wonder how the people like them. They must be incredibly hard to keep clean on regular basis? I wonder how the seats look after two years of use.
