I wouldn't bother with your "interesting farm-to-table" quest because you'd be driving out to western Loudoun to somewhere like Lovettsville or down to Middleburg. downtown Leesburg does have some fine restaurants.
Yeah ... it’s not that there isn’t this stuff in the suburbs. It’s just not right near UH and would add quite a bit of driving into your trip in the opposite direction. Even the suggestion to go fords sends you 20+ minutes west into Ashburn.
