According to this article, the referendum we passed was to allow adults to "privately" use marijuana, which anecdotal evidence confirms they are not. They are publicly blowing it in everyone's faces (including children) all.over our city. Now our Mayor wants further control over the marijuana game. IMO she has not shown any will to effectively implement the current laws and desires of the citizenry - and so does not deserve even higher level of responsibility and enforcement. Meanwhile, delegate for life Holmes Norton wants marijuana to be smoked in public housing (where cigarette smoking is illegal indoors). Marijuana smoke has much higher levels of toxicity. How will this work for childrens lung's as it seeps through the vents?
