Does Bethesda South even exist anymore? Serious question. They seem to field only 1 boys team in total.

Boys 06 team is good - i honestly have not looked beyond that.

Some of these clubs practice pretty far from McLean —do not look at mileage from city to city—which can be very misleading. It can take 30-50 minutes+ to get to S Arlington or Reston practice field from mclean in rush hour.

Do the drive during rush hour (typical practice times) and see what you would be willing to live with several times a week. When we moved to McLean we thought there would be 4-5 viable clubs based on a google mileage search. Turns out only 2 were really viable with one being far more of a PIA to get to.

If you are in Mclean look for clubs with practice fields/facilities located in McLean, NORTH Arlington or some parts of Falls Church (unless you are ok with the drive...and if you do not mind the drive then you should really look at Bethesda which is similar commute if you are close to beltway in McLean...)...

They practice not too far away at Luther Jackson MS or Falls Church HS. Its nice b/c the practice times are always the same time and place each season and each year (by age), so that is a big plus if you have a kid that plays other sports b/c you know when practice will be. I think the girls side must be stronger than the boys side. We have not had a great experience on boys side.

Definitely depends on gender and age group you are looking at for McLean and other clubs. Check out the leagues the teams you are interested in play for.

Is it U11 B or G? Best U11 Girls in area right now are Loudoun, Mclean, and Arlington

McLean Youth Soccer has both rec and travel. Travel tryouts are happening now so get to it.

I have found trying to navigate what our soccer options for fall in this area difficult. We moved from out of state where kids played rec or travel. I have an U11 and U13 for the fall. Where should I research?
