Well, I only have two kids (4 years apart), but the younger one has been very social from a young age. She’s comfortable with people of various ages.

No, I don’t find that. I have 3 kids - B, B, G.
If I really had to rank, my oldest has the hardest time but really he’s fine, too.
My oldest is young for the grade with an August bday. The younger two have winter bdays so are older for the grades.

No, they're usually the most social.

My youngest (of three) is the most socially adaptable. She’s used to not always being the focus and speaks up when she wants to be recognized. I think being a youngest kid can be beneficial for some kids, socially speaking. Curious to know your thought process on why it might make it harder for them?

Not at all. My kids are 2 years apart. It seems everyone else had to adjust, the youngest was all, “I’m here, what’s up?”.

Did you find that your youngest had a harder time socially due to the dynamics within the family?
