Swing a stick in the Washington area and you can find an independent mechanic or gas station with someone with plenty of experience changing O2 sensors. $200 is a reasonable price.

If you are cheap like me, you will buy the part for less than $50 and do it yourself after doing an internet search for videos showing people doing this exact fix on your year and model.

Most gas stations have quick fix mechanics and they are awesome and cheap.

This is easier than changing your tires, changing your oil, or any of the other easy car tasks. Honestly if you can pimp your own gas, which entails opening the gas hood, unscrewing the gas cap, and inserting the gas pump, then you have already done all the tasks involved with changing an o2 sensor

maybe. I had a saturn vue that needed new OT sensors i ran the car up on ramps and got underneath it and i just didn't ever have the leverage I needed to get it off.

and I've dont brake jobs, installed differentials, and other complex tasks.

once I got it work an was able to get it on a lift and have abetter angle and leverage I was able to break it free.

So its not always super easy. and if you don't have a good floor jack or ramps. don't use the car jack supplied with the vehicle to do major car work.

Try to DIY. YouTube for instructions. O2 sensors are maybe 20-40 apiece, and are meant to be plug and play. $250 is a lot for a $30 part and 5 minutes of labor
