No, my son has severe ADHD and sports doesn't do one little thing. We tried.

We signed our kid up for aikido for that reason. It's not magic, but I think it did help. We noticed some improvement after several months. The classes were small and the teachers were good with helping the kids stay on track.

Over the course of several years, I believe it has helped. So has time and maturity, of course.

Thinking of signing up DS who is 6 for karate lessons partly for fun but also because I hear it can help with paying attention and improving listening skills. Has anyone seen such improvements in their kids due to karate or martial art classes? Also how long did it take to see an improvement? Thanks
