I cannot stand the term graduation being used for ceremonies other than high school or college.

I am a middle school teacher and at my school they use the term transition ceremony instead.

You can play the refrain or the second verse if you think the mention of a bar and drinks (mentioned in the 1st verse) is inappropriate .
