She did really like that, but would prefer to go out of state. So, that's definitely on the list, but would like to find something similar a little further away.

What is her unweighted average? And/or what school system?

Mt Holyoke is probably a safety with those numbers.

Look at midwestern LACs like St. Olaf, Lawrence, De Pauw

her scores are great right now; I'd just look at the US news ranking list for schools in the 35 - 60 range for SLACs and see what appeals to her. Wooster is awesome, btw.

If you’re in VA, my LAC loving daughter actually liked CNU.
What price tag is a financial safety for you?

Funny. Those are not financial or admission safeties. Both have acceptance rates in the 20s and $70k price tags.

Elon has several different honors programs that come with merit aid. Might be a good fit for academic and financial safety. Note, though, that the honors deadlines are much earlier than general admission deadlines.

My DD has a 4.58 WGPA and a 33 ACT (will retake). She has identified a ton of match/targets/reaches such as Oberlin, Wesleyan, Grinnell, Mount Holyoke (to give you an idea of the types of colleges she's looking for).

Now, we're trying to identify financial/admission LAC safeties. We looked at Muhlenberg, Allegheny, Clark and she was just not feeling it at these schools. Can anyone offer some suggestions (not West Coast) that might fit the bill?
