Hard to answer without detail on your TV - some have smart/connected TV capabilities built in that you can leverage, for others you need one or more devices to make them smart (e.g. AppleTV, Firestick, Roku, or you might have a gaming system or DVD/Blueray player with these capabilities already).

AppleTV is the easiest for casting from an iphone, but I'm sure there are other options.

apple Tv is a stick you stick in your tv.
Your Iphone can then download an apple tv app. But also, if you are watching something on your phone, there is a "cast" option. If I can do it, you can do it. If my 5 yr old can do it, you can do it.

If you have apple TV the amazon app is on it. If you don't have it, it was easy to buy and set up.
