I believe that Bullis tried this several years back. I assume the grant money is not for soccer, per se, but for need.

You are correct but if “the class of 1985’s Michael OConnel memorial scholarship” wants to give their scholarship to a soccer player they can.

I thought private high schools are not permitted to give straight athletic scholarships. They can recruit athletes, and give academic or need based funding, but not explicitly for athletics. Maybe I’m wrong.
