A couple plot points that are confusing/questioning:
*Where is Gamora?
*If Cap went back in time and lived his life, that means his wife never had her husband and kids. Also that Cap knew about Hydra, Bucky suffering, etc and didn't do anything. Doesn't seem like Cap to go back like that when he's known for being this selfless guy. Also, why the heck did he ever kiss the niece in Civil War but nothing happens between them after?

The Gamora in this movie is from the past, and she is basically stuck in the present. She probably ran off with Nebula following the battle. The next Guardian movie will probably involve them going to find her and slowly acclimating her to the group. It's not a stretch considering what happened with old vs baby Groot.
Because they never actually named her husband, they can retcon it and say that Cap was her husband all along. Maybe they kept it a secret for the sake of the space time continuum or something. Even if that isn't the case, after everything he's been through...Captain America has earned the right to be selfish for once and get the love of his life.
Nebula was on the ship with the rest of the guardians.

And I find it funny that some fans are bitching about Akoye not being in the movie enough. This movie is about the OG Avengers, so they'll be in it mostly. I'm sure after this Phase, she'll be in more of the future movies. Come on, even many other Marvel characters didn't have a lot of screen time.

But if Gamora never goes back, she never appears in first to Guardian movies etc??
