Likely the initial movement was largely from people not enrolling by May 1. There will be a lag depending on how much time they give someone offered a seat from the WL to make a decision and enroll.

However the last couple years virtually all WL offers are made by/before June. So it could be they are getting close to a full class.

I'd call the school if you are close.

Re Walls, I do not have information on the Walls waitlist, but,
to the extent it is helpful, I received confirmation from MySchoolDC within 2 hours of turning in my child's registration materials so it seems like Walls updates MySchoolDC in pretty near real time.

PP - you should start a new thread or search for posts about Watkins and School Without Walls at Francis Stevens (usually abbreviated here as SWW@FS).

There is also a School Without Walls High School, and when people say "Walls" that is what they (and this thread) are referring to.

It is quite confusing.

Good luck.

This. The past isn't always predictive but last year, my DD got in and we turned it down just about this time, maybe a few days earlier. One of DD's friends who was in the low 30s got a call before May 1. Another in the high 40s got a call just after May 1.

They seem to always go through at least the 50s/60s.

I suspect there will be a good number. When I spoke to someone at Walls at the open house last fall he said they would go through at a minimum 20 with kids that choose private over Walls, but they went a lot deeper into the waitlist than that last year.

We are on the waitlist and wondering how far down the list they will go.
