Hey...I’m just telling you an actual fact. My DD was accepted and offered merit aid of about $5000 per year. Maybe they want more kids from this area.

Sewanee and Appalachian State both might be a little too rural/small town for your DD but worth a look
Wake Forest and University of Richmond as reaches
If ok with bigger schools: NC State, ECU, Auburn, VCU

My daughter loved the College of Charleston, and I'm looking for other similar schools for her list. She wants warm weather, liberal arts, not too big (10K undergrad is ideal, but more is OK), near a small or mid-size city (i.e., not too rural or remote), and not too selective -- her SAT is 1300. I'm particularly interested in VA, NC, SC, FL, CA, OR, but open to other states too. Thanks!
