The girls leave earlier or just start at another club. There are a few strong clubs close by that are pretty good and offer ECNL or DA depending on the club.

you see this in other sports as well, my DC's lacrosse clubs started doing this, trying to outdo one another with earlier and earlier try outs.

Yes. And everyone has them early every passing year. Messes up the entire spring season with clubs knowing kids won’t be returning, etc. kids getting cut but still having 7 games left in a season and a Memorial Day tournament.
All Clubs should be mandated not to have them until first week of June.
This would be much better. All tryouts should come after the season is complete or 1 or 2 weeks left. Definitely after Memorial Day Tournament.
US Youth soccer is pathetic and should be mandating this. Instead they gave us stupid birth year change that sucks for school kids.

Well they usually require you to accept(and commit to pay) within a few days of the offer. Given that its will be 3 to 4 weeks before the other clubs tryouts, you will have to decline or accept the offer before you tryout for another club.
I do not think new kids from other travel programs will come. Stoddert just sent the tryout dates out in their newsletter today. Does not give much time to get the info out and many schools are on spring break this week.
