I don't think I'd be able to look the other way that much, but many women clearly can. It works for them and they seem like nice people so I MYOB. I do LoL a bit when I read some posters who insist that it should be obvious to others that they would want to know about their husband's infidelity. There are many women who don't want to know.

+1. Men are as faithful as their options. Any man who is successful and charming and on the road is going to have options. That being said, I would much rather be married to a handsome, successful man who dotes on me and lavishes the family than an unemployed unattractive man who happens to be faithful because he has no opportunity.

Yes. But I think it's over now.

He is an extrovert. She is an introvert. So he has a group of friends he hangs out with while she stays at home. They are both okay with it.

But his behavior changed in regards to going out. (don't want to give too many identifying information, but just say that friends that are a part of a different friend group noticed that his behavior with this particular friend group changed) And a few social media pictures with the whole group were posted online. Even though the pictures were of the whole group, a few of us just got a feeling about this one woman.

After a few months, we think it ended, because his behavior changed. He still goes out with this friend group.

I don't know if his wife figured it out or just turned a blind eye to it. But if we, as a fringe friend group, could sense something, I can't imagine she didn't figure it out.

I've read that women cheat in higher numbers than men do. I think married women who TRULY don't want the drama of getting caught (as opposed to a woman who subconsciously wants to blow up her marriage and is having an exit affair), don't get caught that often.

Man here who travels a lot. Some of the "signs" you write about, like going back to the gym can just be a sign of a midlife crisis. I know in my circle of friends, once one friend our age had a health problem, everyone else in the group seemed to suddenly get on a health kick. I think this happens when faced with your own possible mortality.

As for dressing well.. at least for me I travel a lot because I'm doing sales. Need to look good, especially to keep up with the younger ones.
