I would do the exact opposite. An inner ear infection is very painful and she probably wouldn't feel like playing.

OP why don't you ask your kid how she feels? It's really not rocket science. It's one soccer game.

DD has an infection on her ear (she is on antibiotics but the area is a little swollen) and she has a soccer game tomorrow. Should she go? She is 5 and it's her first game. I'm just nervous her ear will get hit.
