Meaning don’t go to the team in the area with best record?

Correct. Go to the place where you are a fit, and where you will succeed. Winning is great (I don't know many people who like to lose), but it is not the only thing. When we looked for a new club a couple of years ago we wanted to look at the girls and how my daughter fit with them, the coach, the training, and the competition on top of a win-loss record.

One would hope that you are not selecting a club based on this years best record.

I'm guessing the McLean dad put BRYC in last place because he's still upset that his precious DD got beat by BRYC's 2nd team at Discovery cup

McLean 2006 girls were in the 7th bracket at Jeff Cup. They lost all their games and came in last place. Not sure they belong in second place on this list of U13 area teams

MUFC 1-10-3 (only 1 win)
McLean 1-12-1 (only 1 win)
None of these teams having winning records within the ECNL

Can you get to VDA? They are 13-1

My DD plays for one of the teams listed.
I’ll put this in order of how I rate them. If VDA wasn’t so far. Their coaching staff is incredible.

VDA
McLean
Bethesda
Loudoun
MUFC
BRYC

I'm not detective but I'm guessing your DD plays for McLean. There is no way a team that has won 1 out of 14 games should be listed 2nd.

Depending on where you live they both could actually be the closest options.

McLean, Bethesda, Loudon and MUFC are options with BRYC being possible but a true headache. We have played several of the teams in tournaments and they all seem well-coached. My impression is that McLean does the best job with the older age groups. I would be interested in hearing about positive and negative experiences with the clubs.

This should go well...

If she is interested in being on a team that wins games I would not recommend McLean 2006 team.

This has been extensively discussed. Search for prior discussions.

Where do you live? Loudoun and MUFC are not close.
