I think that's pretty standard for PPs' reasons:
- quiet time for everyone at the same time makes it easiest for those who do nap to have nap-friendly environment
- scheduling staff lunch and breaks

It's about 1pm at mine. For both my 2 year old and my 4.5 year old. My 4.5 year old doesn't nap anymore. She just has to lay quietly.

I think 12:30-1 is standard.

If center care it may have to do with ratios and staff lunch breaks.

Sometime between 12:30 and 1pm. A home daycare (2 year old) and an all day preschool (4.5 year old).

Home daycare 12:30-2:30 for all ages in care. Quiet audio books are played for them to listen too, should they not fall asleep right away. Children 2.5 plus get a few books to take to bed with them. They all go at the same time because it is group childcare and trying to provide a quiet time environment allowing those who need the full 2 hours to sleep the opportunity to.

What time is nap time at your daycare (center, home)? DD has been going to a center since she was 6 months old. Nap time is at 12:30. At 3 now, nap time still begins at 12:30. Apparently it’s the same time from infants to pre-K. I wonder how come they don’t start later for older kids. My child still naps at home but she’s not tired at 12:30 and do she doesn’t nap at school anymore. Curious about what other daycares do.
