Subject: Any experience with the 2017 Ford Expedition EL?
FWIW the Suburban is 224" whereas the Expedition EL is 221" so in everyday driving I don't think you're going to notice a huge difference.
If you want to buy and keep it for a while I would go Suburban, it's the class leader for a reason and the V8 will last a lot longer than Ford's turbocharged "Ecoboost" V6.

Subject: Any experience with the 2017 Ford Expedition EL?
We're in the market for a late model, lower mileage used large SUV. We do a lot of family road trips and need something that can carry 5, plus a dog, plus all of our things. The 2017 Suburban seems just too long and there doesn't seem to be another similar SUV that has the cargo capacity of the Expedition EL.
